What's Happening

  • Salute to Our Veterans 2025


    The FSU Health Community Engagement and Neuromodulation teams attending the Salute to Our Veterans two-day event, hosted by VFW Post 4538 in Crawfordville, FL. The event honored Veterans and their families while providing valuable resources. Our FSU team members were proud to support the Veteran community and share information about ongoing health initiatives and research efforts.

  • SE Regional CTSA Conference 2025


    The FSU Health Community Engagement team had a fantastic experience presenting at the 2025 Regional CTSA Conference in Pine Mountain, GA. Their poster highlighted efforts to advance community trust, engagement, and research collaboration through the work of Research Community Health Workers in Florida’s Panhandle.

  • Good News Outreach Ribbon Cutting Ceremony 2025


    We had the honor of attending the Good News Outreach Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, celebrating a new initiative dedicated to tackling food insecurity in our community. This event highlighted the power of love, compassion, and collective action in ensuring that everyone has access to nourishing food.

    The CTSA Network for Clinical Research, Training, and Community Engagement was excited to be a part this year's Florida Department of Health Bureau of Chronic Disease Prevention "WORKSHOP" (Working with Real Knowledge to Sustain Healthy Opportunities for Prevention).

    Our team joined the annual summit of the FL Community Health Worker Coalition in Jacksonville, FL from July 11 -12.

    The CTSA Network for Clinical Research, Training, and Community Engagement is excited to be a part of the C3w+ Collaborative to support the expansion of EMS and community paramedicine workforce development.

  • FLCHW Coalition Symposium 2024


    The CTSA Network for Clinical Research, Training, and Community Engagement and others from Florida State University joined Community Health Workers(CHWs) throughout North Florida to discuss the potential and future of CHWs in Florida.
