SAVE THE DATE! Research Professionals Network Workshop “Considerations for Eliminating Barriers - Championing Research Participation” on September 19 from 3-4:40pm
The Research Professionals Network offers a series of peer-led, collaborative workshops focused on topics relevant to our research professional staff and based in the Joint Task Force for Clinical Trial Competency Framework. Come learn from your colleagues’ expertise and experiences! Workshops are taught by peer staff from the collaborating sites: BMC/BU Medical Campus, University of Vermont (and affiliate Maine Medical Center), University of Florida (and affiliate Florida State University), and Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
The September workshop will discuss important considerations for representative and culturally sensitive research recruitment and study design. Presenters will highlight community engagement principles and how research coordinators can apply this to study recruitment and holistic study design.
