K2R Scholar Program All About Funding (AAF) Series
Background
One of our career development preparatory programs, All About Funding (AAF), is open to K2R-Scholar Program (KSP) trainees, which includes Assistant Professors, Research Faculty, and new FIRST faculty. While the KSP is a joint venture supported by and open to emerging scholars at the University of Florida (UF) and Florida State University (FSU) under the auspices of these institutions’ collaborative Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), the FIRST faculty are all housed in FSU. The AAF annual training program consists of 8 modules implemented monthly, beginning in August and ending in April, with no sessions held over the summer term. Each module is delivered virtually and lasts about one hour. The faculty contact for this program is Dr. Henna Budhwani, an Endowed Professor at the College of Nursing. Dr. Budhwani can be reached at hbudhwani@fsu.edu. The administrative contact for trainees is Andrea Johnson, MPH, Health Research Training Program Coordinator. Andrea can be reached via email at aj22bd@fsu.edu.
